Geothermal Wells
We often hear from homeowners in South Jersey about the desire to decrease their reliance on fossil fuels; did you know that geothermal wells provide a great opportunity to do just that? They’re also the most efficient way to heat and cool your home. Geothermal wells use the power of thermal energy, which is generated and stored in the Earth. This makes using geothermal system clean and sustainable, and they can also easily be integrated into your existing HVAC system. If you’re interested in learning more about the environmental impact of geothermal wells, or you’re curious about our services, contact Water Central today.

Groundwater Systems
Groundwater systems, otherwise known as open loop systems, use natural heat by drawing water from an aquifer, and then through a supply well. Then that water passes through the heat exchanger in the geothermal heat pump where the heat is exchanged with the refrigerant that’s inside of your unit. Finally, the heat is returned to the aquifer or disposed of. These systems are ideal for homes that have existing wells. If you’re interested in learning more or want a consultation on a groundwater geothermal system, contact us today.
Vertical Systems
Vertical systems, otherwise known as closed loop systems, use natural heat in a very similar way as their groundwater system counterparts. But, instead of pumping the water out of the well and back into the ground, vertical systems simply circulate the water or antifreeze solution through a closed network of plastic pipes into vertical bore holes. These systems are ideal for properties with limited land available to them. Contact the team at Water Central for more information on a vertical system.
